Phoned last minute to see if they could put a new leather sole and heal on a pair of barker shoes same day. Best job I've ever had done, like a new pair of shoes. Thanks Keith nice to chat and thanks for the advice on quality shoes.

Am absolutely delighted with the repair to my favourite sandals!! Thought they were destined for the bin after my dog had a chew on one of them. They are good as new (part of the sole was chewed) Craftsman are still around I'm glad to say, and working Cheadle Timpsons. Thank you so much!

Cant agree with the previous review - I took a pair of Grenson boots in last week to have new soles fitted, my wife collected them earlier today. There were stitches missed in the stittching which was also loose stitching - very poor work. I took them back late this afternoon, the guy I spoke to said the machine does that sometimes and suggested they would probably have to do the job again to rectify it but wasnt actually offering to do them again. Bad service and certainly bad after sales once they had taken my £30 - I said I would take them to a professional next time !!!! It's a shame when you support your local business -and they treat you like this - they are not up to the job.
